5. Selection and Awards
Eligible submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the applicable festival rules and evaluation procedures.
Selection decisions and awards are determined through the festival’s announced process. The festival does not promise any particular result in exchange for a submission fee.
The festival may disqualify a submission that materially violates the published rules, infringes third-party rights, or contains materially false information, subject to applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property and Permissions
Filmmakers retain ownership of their films and intellectual property.
By submitting a film, the submitter confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the film and associated materials.
The submitter grants the festival permission to access and review the submitted film for evaluation and festival administration.
Use of film excerpts, stills, posters, trailers, titles, and other promotional materials will be limited to the permissions granted by the submitter, the applicable festival rules, and any additional authorisation required.
Submission does not transfer ownership of a film to the festival.
7. Submission Withdrawal and Refunds
Requests for withdrawal and refunds are governed by the published Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Eligibility depends on the circumstances, the stage of evaluation, the applicable policy, and any rights available under applicable law.
8. User Conduct
Users must not:
- Submit fraudulent or materially misleading information.
